Seniors: All Seniors Read Part 1, If You Are A Dual Enrollment Student or AP Student, Part 2 Applies To You

Part 1:

ALL SENIORS: If you are planning to attend a post-secondary institution (college of any kind) and need a FINAL transcript sent to that institution after graduation, make sure to complete the Class of 2020 Final Transcript Request Form on the NOHS main page (under school news). This is the format that we are using to process ALL requests for FINAL transcripts.

Part 2:
Dual Enrollment
To alleviate any registration problems you might encounter during your college registration process,
please follow the process below if you took a dual enrollment class during your time at NOHS.

If you are a senior and you took a dual enrollment course during your high school years, please make sure to send a copy of your college transcript from the college you attended for dual enrollment to the college that you will attend after graduation from NOHS.

Example:  Student A took English 1101 at UNG fall semester of their senior year.  They plan to attend Georgia Southern University Fall 2020.  Georgia Southern will not allow a student to register for English 1102 until they have an official transcript from UNG noting that the credit for English 1101 was earned.  Georgia Southern will not take the NOHS transcript as verification for the English 1101 course.

Check the links below to request transcripts from the college that you attended.

Advanced Placement Credit
How does a college get your AP scores to determine if they will award college credit?

When students register for an AP exam they have a choice of what college to send their scores for credit evaluation.  If the college you
are planning to attend is the college that you sent your scores, you should be good. If the college is no longer the college
that you plan to attend, you will need to log in to your collegeboard account and request for your scores to
be sent to the college that you are planning to attend. There is typically a fee associated with this request.
