Virtual Mini Camp College
Historically,
Mini Camp Colleges (click) have been presented by SACAC as free, one-day, interactive and informative college planning workshops.
Given the inability to host these programs in person this year, but holding to our unwavering commitment to demystify the complexities of college admissions and promote access to higher education to first-generation/underrepresented students, we have devised a way to deliver this content in a virtual format through a series of five webinars.
- How to search for colleges during COVID-19
- How to apply to college and write an effective essay
- Financial Aid 101 (Scholarships + Need-Based Aid)
- Standardized Testing
- Resumes and Activities Lists
These events are applicable and relevant to all high school students and their families. The next webinar will be held
July 23rd. Interested parties should complete a registration form
ASAP so that they can be contacted with specifics regarding joining the webinar as well as the remaining three webinars which should be completed by mid August.
Space is limited for live webinar participation; however, webinars will be recorded and posted on the SACAC website. The first webinar in the series is available now.
