University of Michigan: Virtual Visits

 My name is Jenna McCormick, and I am the University of Michigan admissions counselor for all schools in Georgia. I wanted to let you know that I'll be hosting two virtual information sessions for prospective students from the State of Georgia, including students from North Oconee High School. I'm offering these sessions in an effort to reach more students in the State of Georgia, reduce the number of Zoom meetings/Zoom fatigue, and provide an event for students who were not able to attend an individual high school visit. Would it be possible for you to pass this opportunity onto any interested students? 

I will be covering our admissions requirements and deadlines, updates to the application process, and answering any questions students may have along the way! Students can use either of these two links to register, and they'll receive a confirmation email 24 hours prior to the event with the Zoom link:

If students are not able to make it then I encourage them to consider a variety of virtual events taking place this October through our Wolverine Spotlight Series. Events range from essay writing help to virtual information fairs to our Diversity Through the Student Lens event that highlights what the University of Michigan is doing in regard to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I will also be in Atlanta on Sunday, October 17th for a joint admissions presentation called Go Blue + Go Green with Michigan State University. Students can register here.
