Cal Tech: Up Close 2022

 Caltech Up Close 2022

,

At Caltech, we seek students who want to change the world through their passion for STEM; students who strive for innovation, transformation, and achieving the impossible through collaboration, curiosity, and tenacity. In your professional role as a counselor, educator, and mentor, Caltech appreciates all that you do to support college-aspiring students, thus, we are reaching out to request that you share our fall fly-in program with your high-achieving students who are graduating from a U.S. high school in 2023. The program will focus on the experience of students from underrepresented and/or underserved backgrounds in STEM. These backgrounds may include but are not limited to sex, gender, first-generation to college, race/ethnicity, low-income, DACA/undocumented, and rural students.

Through Caltech Up Close 2022selected participants will uncover what life as a student-scientist is like in Pasadena, CA. This year's in-person program will take place October 8 - 10, 2022 and during the all-expense paid visit, selected participants will:
