We are gearing up for our annual Student/Parent Grade Level Meetings coming up next week in the Fine Arts Auditorium at NOHS. If you have been to one of these meetings in years past, you know how valuable this one hour investment is for helping you and your student navigate the waters of high school and beyond. The high school and college acceptance experience has changed from what most parents remember from their high school years. Even if you have recently graduated an older sibling, MUCH has changed!! This one hour investment will arm you with the knowledge to make great decisions for your student as he or she moves forward into SATs, ACTs, PSATs, PLANs, EOCTs, and about 50 other acronyms! Sandwiched between the two meetings on each night is a panel of college admissions professionals from Athens Tech, UGA, Georgia College, Gainesville State, and more. These experts will provide you and your student insights with the latest trends and pitfalls they see with college applications. You will either want to plan on coming early or staying late for this unique opportunity. We are excited to see you and your student at one or more of these "don't miss" events.
