Important Event for the Parent of A Teen Driver

We are having the UGA Chief of Police come to speak to students and parents on Tuesday Nov. 27th at 7 pm in the NOHS Fine Arts Auditorium. The Chief will be talking about Distracted Driving and Decision Making.Below is attached a copy of the flyer for the event.

During homeroom this year NOHS's goal has been to give each student a trusted adult at school. Each week the students meet with a teacher in a small group setting to discuss issues pertinent to their grade level. One of our goals is to better prepare them for the future, but another goal is to help them see the present. One of the greatest dangers facing young drivers today is accidents caused by distracted driving. On November 27th at 7pm UGA Chief of Police Jimmy Williamson will be at NOHS to talk to high school students and parents alike about distracted driving and decision making.
