Mr. Kulp,
I'm a senior at UGA (I graduated from OCHS in 2009) and I'm looking for students who would like to gain volunteer hours. UGA's Habitat for Humanity club is holding a fundraiser during winter break in order to raise money so we can sponsor a Habitat for Humanity house. We will be wrapping gifts at Barnes and Noble stores in the hopes of receiving donations to further our goal of sponsoring a house. As a store leader for the Athens area, I'm looking for student volunteers to help wrap gifts this holiday season. This will be a great opportunity for students to get the community service hours they need for clubs and honor societies. Students or faculty sponsors can feel free to email me at kbacon1@uga.edu to receive more information about this opportunity. Listed below are the dates and times that we'll be wrapping gifts:
12/14 10am-11 pm, 12/16 9am-9pm, 12/19 10 am-10pm, 12/20 10am-10pm 12/22 2pm-6pm, 12/23 9am-2pm and 6pm-9pm (these time ranges will be broken up into 2 or 3 hours slots and students can sign up for as many or few slots as they would like).
Sincerely,
Katie Bacon
