Every year, Walton EMC sponsors an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC for a week long immersion experience into our Nation's government and the visiting of the National Monuments. Students who live in the Walton EMC Service area are eligible to apply for this opportunity. To win this opportunity a student must take a written exam on electrical member cooperatives, electricity, Walton EMC and the electrical utility industry and make it through an interview process. This year's trip will take place June 11-18th. Applications are due by Friday, February 6th at 5 PM at Walton EMC. Attached below is the brochure with an application and complete information.
