Good Afternoon Oconee County –
We want to make sure that each of you have a copy of the
attached 2016 Friends of Advantage adDRESS a Need Prom Scholarship Application
and to be aware of the adDRESS a Need project overall.
Friends of Advantage will be hosting its annual fundraiser
….the adDRESS a Need SALE this year March 4-20, 2016 at a NEW
location of Epps Bridge Centre. The address is 1791 Oconee Connector in
the same shopping area as GAP, Old Navy, Kinnucan’s, etc.
The adDRESS a Need SALE is a public sale that offers new and
gently used formal and semi-formal dresses for children and adults, wedding
gowns, shoes, jewelry, and accessories sale for prices starting at $20 and
nothing priced over $150!
The adDRESS a Need Prom Scholarships are awarded timely so
that the individuals granted Cinderella Makeovers can come during the sale and
pick out a dress of their choice. We then schedule hair and make-up
appointments for them for the day of their prom at no charge to the individual,
as sponsors cover the costs.
Feel free to share the applications with any student(s) you
deem in need within your high school.

All proceeds from the adDRESS a Need projects will be used
to assist Advantage Behavioral Health Systems bridge gaps in funding to serve
needs of individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and
addictive disease that are not funded by insurance, government, grant proceeds,
or families.
