The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Program is now available. Students grades 9-12 are eligible to apply. This is an award that was designed to recognize students that have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. This award is recognized on the local, state, and national level. Each state winner will be named a State Honoree and will receive an award of $1,000.00, an engraved medallion, and an all expense paid trip with a parent/guardian to Washington, D.C. May 6-9, 2017. National Honorees will earn $5,000 in awards, an engraved gold medallion, crystal trophies for their school, and $5,000 in grants from The Prudential Foundation for nonprofit charitable organization of their choice.
There are a few steps to this application process:
1. A student must complete the application:
Prudential Spirit of Community Award application
2. It will then go the school/group that you are applying through. Once that group selects their ONE recipient that they can approve, that students application will move on to compete at the state level. If a student wins at the state level, they can then move on to the national selection committee.
