Last week, the three guidance counselors at NOHS attended the Peach State Tour for counselors on UGA's campus. We were able to hear the latest news in regards Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, and the University of Georgia.
We always enjoy these sessions because they provide us with what is new on those campuses as well as what is trending in their admissions offices. All three schools provided a vast amount of information in their 15 minute "brag time". My take away for each school was: FOLLOW THE BLOG. All three colleges have an admissions blog. That has been an excellent source of information for our office and I know that it could be for your applicant as well. I have listed the links below to provide easier access for you to find them. The blog will speak to tips for the application process, new happenings on campus, etc. It is a gold mine of information.
