On December the 8th, State Farm is hosting an event, in partnership with Women In Technology, that is specifically for
middle-school and high-school aged girls. This organization seeks to empower
women as they pursue STEM careers. Any students that are interested in pursuing STEM degrees, please register online. This event is free of cost (one only needs to register
with WIT if they are not already). The evening will consists of speakers that will discuss their roles in State
Farm's IT department, and a small “career fair” will be held, which will allow
attendees time to mingle with other State Farm employees about their job
responsibilities.
This is a great opportunity to network with industry
professionals!
