Final Exam Exemption forms will go home 12/5. Students must
obtain all necessary signatures from teachers, media specialist, and parents to
exempt finals.
Exemption Guidelines
*Have at least a “90” average
*Have no more than 3 tardies
* Have all fines cleared
*Have no more than 3 absences
*Have no ISS or OSS records
All forms must be completed and returned by Tuesday, Dec.
13th (A Day) during 4th Block. The 4th Block teacher will collect the completed
forms as they are turned in. Students whose parents do not wish to sign the
form and/or students who do not turn in a form, their names will be added to a
spreadsheet which will used for afternoon attendance purposes. These students
will report to the cafeteria following the last exam on the 15th and 16th for
the afternoon.
NOHS will be an open campus during the last two days of the
semester (December 15th - 16th) for final exams. (This is a change). Students may arrive and depart
as needed for exams and WILL NOT need to check in/out of the attendance office
on these two days. If a student is on
campus (prior to 11:30am) they must report to their assigned class during the
time it is scheduled.
Students who are unable to leave immediately after their
2nd/4th Block exams on 12/15 and 12/16 should report to the cafeteria and
check-in for the remainder of the day. Attendance will be taken in the
cafeteria. Once a student has checked into the cafeteria after 11:30, the
student must be checked out of the front office to leave school premises.
