Oconee County Chamber Of Commerce Youth Leadership Oconee
The NOHS Counseling Office is proud to announce that the 2018-2019
applications for the Oconee Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program are
now available. Make note applications are due
by August 17th.
Youth Leadership Oconee targets current 10th and 11th grade
students who want to further develop their leadership skills and channel those
skills towards helping others and improving their community.
The program meets
monthly beginning in September and offers sessions on Communication and Team
Building, County Government & Services, Entrepreneurship, Education, Arts
& Nonprofits, and Agriculture. In
addition to the monthly sessions, participants are encouraged to complete
several hours of volunteer service.
Youth Leadership Oconee provides service opportunities but encourages
participants to seek out projects on their own or in small groups.
Applications are available at the Oconee County Chamber of
Commerce and on the Chamber’s website, www.oconeechamber.org .
Tuition is $150 and scholarship assistance is available. For more information about Youth Leadership
