Augusta University: Summer Leadership Experience

Augusta University will be hosting its annual residential summer camp, the Summer Leadership Experience, from May 28th – May 31st. The Summer Leadership Experience is looking for students who classify as a rising freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior who exemplify what it means to be a student leader. Summer Leadership Experience campers are innovative thinkers, reflective learners, and students who have demonstrated a high interest in personal leadership development and a strong work ethic. The focus of the Summer Leadership Experience will be on topics relating to the distinctions of leadership, citizenship, and persuasive communication.

Students will participate in workshops and programs that are in line with the Student Leadership Challenge curriculum and can expect events such as:
  • collegiate counselor led learning sessions
  • keynote speakers
  • teambuilding obstacle course 
  • lip-sync battle
  • community service project
  • personal development activities.
These students have the distinct honor of representing their school while also gaining valuable leadership skills that will last them a lifetime. Payment for the Summer Leadership Experience should be made in full by May 8th, 2020.
