As one of the first U.S. institutions of higher learning to admit women and people of color, Bates believes in equity and access. This fall, we'd love to see your top students on campus for our Diversity Fly In Program: Prologue to Bates- and we'd be glad to sponsor their travel here.
At this time, Prologue to Bates is still scheduled to be held on campus in the fall of 2020. Students will join us Sunday, October 13 through Tuesday, October 15 for an opportunity to tour our historic 109-acre campus, meet our faculty and staff, and study, live, and play like a Bates student. As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we will continue to monitor developments and update applicants should any changes occur to Prologue to Bates.
