Did you know that Oconee County is considered a rural fringe community? In the world of college admission, that term means something. Colleges are looking to recruit students from a "rural" community and NACAC, the organization that oversees college admission in the United States, has a special interest group that is devoted to providing access and information to rural communities. The Small Town and Rural group have recently released spotlight videos of colleges that are recruiting rural students.
